Please note that although we expect orders to be unaffected, there may be the potential for a small delay with any 'out of stock' orders placed between 16.01.23 and 08.02.23 due to National Holidays.
The BR series coilovers use a large 46mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximise oil capacity. As the damper unit operates the oil contained within heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as its temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.
BC Racing only use a very high quality oil with their coilovers but go that extra mile to maximise performance and build their BR range with a large 53mm diameter damper body. This increases the capacity of the unit which increases the volume of oil contained which in turn reduces the peak temperature and so significantly improves damper performance.

DS Series Coilover
BC Racing's DS Coilover system is built with digressive valving offering the same great benefits of the BR Type model and is considered a perfect choice for those who are looking for track biased coilovers. The digressive valving offers more stability and enhances cornering ability at low shaft speed which gives you a different ride from the conventional linear valving.

ASP J-36 Rear Spring Perch with lock Rings
BC Racing's new adjustable spring perch (ASP) is an excellent solution for customers seeking a lowered stance but still require the OEM electronic damping system to remain functional. Compared with conventional lowering springs, the BC Racing ASP offers ride height adjustability that seamlessly allows users more flexibility to tailor their chassis to the needs of modern suspension, performance and style.
We have had a small number of instances where the pillowball top mounts cause noise transmission on this specific application. If the potential noise could be an issue for you, we advise purchasing the ‘recommended kit’ at the top of this page instead.
The recommended BR-RN kit will not come with any top mounts as it is designed specifically to re-use the OEM top mount components.

The recommended BR-RS kit will come with non camber adjustable rubber top mounts which will eradicate the issue.
In a very small number of applications the RA front solid pillowball suspension top mounts can transmit noise into the cabin. It is very rare and is application specific. Customer can expect noise transmission on this application. The noise is not indicative of a fault with the product, its the nature of a solid pillowball top mount and the nuances of a very small number of car shells that combine to generate noise transmission. The noise is in the form of light knocking.
As noise transmission is a function of the pillowball and shell combination and you accept that noise might be present we will not accept returns of any of these kits as faulty due noise transmission. This does not effect the kits general warranty, only that pillowball noise transmission is not a warranty issue. We will not accept kit returns due to noise transmission.
The RM Series is comprised of a damper cartridge secured within a threaded outer body. This specific design requires a lubricating grease to be applied during the assembly process between the two damper and threaded body to avoid metal to metal contact. In order to keep the two components from touching each other and so generating noise transmission you will need to periodically clean out the old grease and apply new grease.
This is a simple process that can be done with just a few common tools. It does not require you to open the internals of the dampers themselves and therefore you do not need to have the dampers re-pressurised after carrying out this procedure. Please contact us on [email protected] for more information and a step-by-step guide on how to complete this maintenance.
As a result of this required maintenance, we do not recommend the RM Series for road use over the BR Series or ER Series.

This true rear coilover option requires shell reinforcement prior to coilover install. Please tick to confirm you understand the conditions of use.

AIRMATIC MUST CHANGE REAR LOWER ARM
Rear arm needs replacing with the Mercedes rear lower control arm from the E350 W211.
Additional plug-in error delete kit may be necessary. Please note that this is not available for purchase through BC Racing.
